The Definition of Old (courtesy MDOD)
The definition of old is when the Rosetta Stone commercials cease to have any kind of pull on you. You are not going to learn another language, face it. You are old .

You want some Latin?
ReplyDeleteLowbayicus emayicus itchbayicus.
And the only way to really learn a language is by total emersion like I learned ebonics, in an intergrated pubic school, which was only intergrated in the sense that the Cops who showed up to investigate the daily sexual assaults were white.
And all racism aside, I love the Rosetta Stone commercial with the World War 2 GI diligently learning Italian so he can ask the beautiful senorita for a date, instead of just drunkenly raping her like what really happened..
Auf Wiedersehn,

I'm supposed to be studying physics...but here I am reading your blog. How's life?
ReplyDeleteIf anyone can find a way to say "blow me, bitch" in Chinese, I am sure it is Drackman. That kind of charm transcends language. He'll manage just fine.

If you are going into social services (that includes the medical field) you really need to learn Spanish. They are really short on bi-lingual spanish speakers.
