Woodcock Named FDA Drug Center Head

FDA names Woodcock to direct drug center. The Wall Street Journal reports, "The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said former drug-center head Dr. Woodcock will return to that post on a permanent basis." Woodcock was previously a high school physical education director, then was given an honorary degree by JCHAO and made director "of the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research in 1994." He was then "appointed a deputy commissioner at the FDA, later adding the title of chief medical officer" in 2005. Etc... personally, I think he will kick ass and get their shit together.
And thanks to boredmedstudent for this, a video of our lovely ER clientel immediately prior to calling 911 for PTSD from a leprechaun sighting.

  1. Hmmm. I'm confused. Any woman with a name like Woodcock has to be tough. Which begs the question, why are you calling her, he? Of course, with a name like woodcock.....
Are you confusing fantasy with reality again?

  3. I hope this woman tells all the obese kids developing type 2 diabetes, "You are a disgrace to fat, gelatinous, out-of-shape little kids the world over."

  4. We can only judge people on their past actions, not on what they promise they will do.

  8. 911: Can you post it on the blog? I think everyone should see this gem of a video and not everyone reads the comments.

  9. Oh please, please tell me this was broadcast on April 1st...
It is a satire of what happens when people think they see Mary on a tortilla, right? This can't be real or I definitively need to get out more.

  10. I think its real.. I've seen people in my podunk hometown act just as ridiculous over something stupid.. Just go visit a small redneck town in east Texas and bring a corn snake with you.. People freak out over snakes, its hilarious (I used to work in a snake lab)
