    Be careful not to label this activity as "recycling" of old computers. This would fall under the "green" movement and you'd owe Al Gore a royalty (anybody see the report that said that he'd made about $100,000,000 off of the "green" movement? I didn't fact check that figure, but I know he's made a bundle).

    Oh, sorry. I guess this is a non-political post too. As my kids say: "my badddd" (or as the sheep at Texas A&M said: "my baaaaaad").

    No Old Computers, but I've got 19 gallons of used motor oil takin up space in my Garage...
    Gotta few filters too...
    I'd use it myself but the HOA frowns on Bonfires....

    I have a balky HP laptop, a fine machine, but it needs work. I'm pretty sure it could be easily fixed, as the problem is with "torsion", the bending of the machine from too many hours of my wrists lying beneath the keyboard. If I bend the case, it works fine, so it's probably a loose connection in the motherboard.

    One stipulation: The entire hard drive must be reformatted, to wipe out everything on it. There is far too much on there of a priviliged and confidential nature for me to have done anything with it, prior to now. With a promise that the hard drive will be wiped, the laptop is yours and I will ship it.

    I'm a lurker on your site (love it, by the way!). I have a Mac desktop that could use a new home if you still would like it. It's a little "loved" on the outside (my littlest labeled it with her name in Sharpie...I'll try a little rubbing alcohol on that), but seems to run just fine. Let me know, I'm off to the post office on Monday and could have it on its way.
