Echo.... echo.... echo....

Brass tacks. Here's something that works in other fields of endeavor... reward excellence in some fashion, and let your most valuable personnel make the decisions regarding their work environment. Medicine may be 'too important' to do this though...

  1. There was a short period of time in the 1980's when I regreted my decision to forgo med school and wished deeply to be a physician.

    Now...not at all.

    Nursing has sucky moments, but at least the government doesn't except me to give away 35% of my services like an aging Marxist hooker. My admiration for the docs in the trenches, with double blessings for those in primary care!
