MDOD Pop Quiz (Quietus, Crapius, Homeopathicus)

Ladies and gents. We have been at this snarky blog business for a few years now... long enough for those of you who are properly twisted, to guess what kind of response we might write if we were brought, without warning, upon this website. So go for it gang, snark it up, tell me what's wrong with this picture in your best MDOD imitation (the trick will be to blow it up without pouring gasoline on it and then nuking it).

And OBTW, to the makers of this placebo, we are not above being bribed... send us some money and we'll take this down, but it's got to be a lot, and we reserve the right to re-up. I know you are the same people who make the snuggie, the slap-chop, and the popeil pocket fisherman).

  4. I don't require the "retreat ringing," butt this product works WONDERS! on my "&anp; whizzing!"

My fiance is no longer concerned that I may whip it out and start &anp; whizzing into the flowers on the alter, so we can now consider moving the wedding indoors!

  8. Oh, come on, it's a parody site. I mean, "Quietus"?!? I cannot be the only one who knows that the word describes a terminal end of something -- a final discharge, a death, or the means to induce such a death!

  9. @ Felix:

If so, then they are strangely committed to their humor. Quietus spends a lot of money on radio advertisements, in my area.

  10. I assure this "product" is very real. They advertise on a local talk radio station. Their commercials almost give you a headache with the loud, annoying buzz they play. They took the old Emergency Broadcast Radio sound, heightened the pitch, and play it for like 5 seconds.

The only ringing in my ears I get is from listening to their commercials.

  12. "Quietus" is from the movie "Children of Men" with Clive Owen, where women cannot have children anymore.
